A mature designer (or design team) challenges clients and colleagues and takes leadership over the design (thinking) process. They focus on effectiveness, having the most impact with the least effort. Experienced designers actively monitor and support their projects and do not wait for specific orders to come to them.
As a coach and mentor with broad experience, I help (UX) designers and teams to build the bridge between theory and practice. I help build confidence in taking the lead and being a driver during the design process. I teach them how to think, not what to think. During our coaching and mentorship, we typically work on maximizing project impact, improving as a designer and having a more active role in your company.
